How to Enable Traktor Timecode for Uncertified Mixers. The instructions and videos below are for Traktor versions older than 2.9.0. For Traktor versions 2.9.0 and newer, contact me at for special instructions – it still works, but different method. Under normal conditions, your sound card or mixer must be Traktor Scratch Certified to allow Traktor timecode CDs and vinyl to control the decks. Q: I just bought the XONE:2D and I'm curious if there any pre-set mappings for Traktor Scratch Pro? A: There are many different ways to configure the XONE:2D and Traktor Pro, a lot depends on how you plan to combine the two and what media format/s you plan to use, so if you're new to XONE:D Series mixers, or Traktor, we'd suggest using the A & H Traktor Pro.tsi configuration files to get you.

hi guys I am looking for some advice. I have been using Traktor scratch for over a year and feel in love with digital djing. When TSPro came along i was mad to upgrade and I did. After a lot dealing with NI (a great support team I must say) and a lot of re-jigging and twigging of my lap-top I finally got TSpro to run smoothly. During this 'setting up period' of TSPro I kinda stumbled upon the fact that you dont actually need to use the decks with TSPro to use it. At first I was horrified at the fact that there are ways off 'cheating' while you are Djing. But then it got some burned out brain cells that have not been working for a long time to get up and start running again. Why am I telling you all this??? Because through my exploration of TSpro I discovered the power of MIK and PN. Then I found the A&H Xone 4D mixer. This is the advice I need. Because the 4D has alot of midi control, and is NI Certified - is it worth the €2000 investment in making TSpro's tools more user friendly as you do not need to use the cdjs anymore. I can only guest that more time can now be spent futtering and looping and sampling and messing and etc etc etc.. I have never used midi controls before so is the setting up or 'mapping' of the 4D as difficult as it was to learn about TS or to reset everything on the second Laptop I had to buy to make TSPro run smoothly? Thank you for taking the time out to read this and I would like to get a wee bit more educated on the link between TSPro and the 4D - so advice would be taken in before I purchase a 4D and spend the next 12 months trying to get it to work!!!!! Confused and regards b
